DJ BOBO (René Baumann) is a Swiss-born producer, composer, writer, singer and dancer in one person. Being a DJ he first gained success in Switzerland, and the decisive breakthrough came with the superhit reeleased back in 1992 Somebody Dance With Me, In many countries the song reached the TOP TEN and BOBO's extraordinary success was awarded with several gold discs in many countries His next single Keep On Dancing became reached the TOP TEN in many European countries and was awarded with Gold Discs for 250,000 singles sold in Germany. His best Euro albums include Dance With Me, There Is A Party and Just For You. These three albums and several singles in EURO style gained him a title of "King Of Disco". He became one of the most popular solo EURO artists up-to-date. Since than he released several other albums with the genre shifting from Eurodance to more mainstream POP sound.
